The Seaweed Dream Zine is a playful introduction into the world of seaweeds that grow in the Pacific Northwest. With 8 pages of full colored mixed media collage & hand lettered words, we drop into the "Seaweed State of Mind" as we find playful ways to connect with seaweed and the magic of the intertidal zone.
WHAT IS A ZINE?
Zines (pronounced as "zeen") are non- commercial, self publications of thoughts, ideas & art from under-represented individuals and social groups in our culture. They have a distinctly DIY feel to them & can be as short as 8 pages or as long as 20+ but always represent a counter- cultural view or understanding of a subject.
